Haha yeah, a double album wouldn't make sense at this point. I shorter album of really strong tracks is what they need...

So that would be a preview of their website then?

That monitor is really old. I used to have that same monitor like 10 years ago. Did Orianthi post that!?

I know you want a double album; but I'm afraid you need to check your math, son. Isn't the last number we heard 22 songs? Two EPs at 5 songs each + a single CD with 12 songs would sound about right. A double would the total closer to 30 - 34, wouldn't it?

But pay me no mind, man. Hang on to your dream!!
Oh, love you too. My maths are good but my English is not, haha. I wanted to say that maybe some of those EP songs make the album, or maybe all EPs songs will be included with the rest of songs in a double album. It is strange that they promote two EPs with so many songs so that then we have a completely different album and only a couple of songs are in the final album.

Whatever it is, if they get to release 20 songs, I do not care how they do it.

Name these bands.

Royal Blood launched Eps with 4 songs, but 6 months later released an album. I do not know if this is a great example though.

Royal blood released an EP, but an album followed.

John Mayer is doing it with great success
Skid Row are doing it
The Virginmarys did it
Toby Jepson (Little Angels) did it

There are loads of more, but I can't be bothered to Google it, you can do that for yourself...

The majority of smaller bands that are still building a following do it....

I realise that you may not have heard of all of these artists, but that isn't the point. Most people haven't heard of RSO...essentially this is a debut album. They still need to build their own following...

You are used to the major label bands....remember this project is going to be self financed or a small label not a major, it doesn't work the same.

Here's some interesting articles on it. The point is null and void though, as RSO are releasing an album after 2 EPs...

Going forward less and less bands are going to be releasing full albums. Younger kids just don't buy albums. The older punters (and bands) won't be around forever

I recently read on Billboard, that Aerosmith would release a single, maybe an EP, and that they would not bother to make a full album. Since are investing amounts of money and then the thing is forgotten in matter of weeks. So they think the trend now is the singles or EPs. They are planning to launch something in the short term.

Really, I love the full albums, although there is often unnecessary filling.

I can't help but stop on the final line - "fresh off recent" - I'm sure they are counting on casuals but they have not done a single public show in a long time (exempt charity or free). Not a tour? Do they really have no sense of time? Maybe that explains all of her "soon" for over 3 years. I get it, Richie felt like a work horse but even that doesn't fly at times. I remember the interview when Ava was a baby, his saying he got up in the night as he was off the road for a year while Heather had to work. Yes, early on they were a money machine and pushed hard. Yes, Jon pushed more years back but they have been well rewarded. That's why he can do what he wants now.

Also noticed the comments on social media - it seems their show on Oct. 3rd at the Grammy Theatre (200 seats max, $30) was sold out Before It went on sale to the public???

This still feels like an unorganized mess - Doc has got his work cut out for him.

It's standard PR type text. That's part of what McGhee is hired to do. Have you never read a press release?

Or did you think Richie and Ori wrote this themselves!?
