And without forgetting the always reminder of It's My Life line -Frankie. He loves to tell that story over and over again to make fun of Richie.

Both are a cock. Take the music for what it is. Do not like it because it's pop or no guitars? Okay, that I understand, but it's not worse than what the band does now, and I do not think it sounds so old-fashioned.

No... He mocked the lyrics and used a sarcastic voice "She's A Little Runaway"

If I remember the interview correctly, it was during one his awkward and angry rants (probably intoxicated).

I don't know if I agree with the idea that Jon gets off lightly. Richie does get his brunt but they both do. Jon isn't too well liked on this board.

How about nipping the "Who said what" discussion and talk about the music you have been waiting years to hear?

I was referring to RD in particular Cap, not the board in general.

It's strange though that the 2 people who created most of the music we love are so well hated here....

Anyways, as Becky says, back on topic....

The Reggae Mix of Good Time is interesting...we get the whole "rap" part twice...

And I'm almost with you on that however.... until Jon and / or Richie change their story as to why Richie walked off, Jon will always be the victim imo... Jon might be the biggest dick to work for but until Richie states that's his reason for leaving, it's all just pure speculation... Plus Richie doesn't have the cleanest track record from 2010 forward. That also doesn't help... Finally, Dave and Tico are still going along with Jon just fine and they also seem relaxed as ever so....

Becky, I get you want it to be all about the music but that's just not realistic... This House is not even out a year yet, Jon is still out touring it, you also have a hurt Jon, and an angry Richie Sambora so yes there are going to be comparisons and off topic drifting... You trying to keep this post about the music is like trying to keep the Presidential Debates on their intended topics...

When you have expectations from an artist its logical to have feelings...deep down we all here love the guys who created these songs...i ve been listening to the ep...take me is the one song i like but i always think richie should hold back vocally and pushed harder for some guitar licks...
as some stated the drums sound fake...i wonder did they used programmed loops or just overproduced some real takes??
i d like to listen to these songs live. if they rehearse and present sth good maybe the public embrace the new songs.
i d like some more innovating but maybe the next songs are better .

"And that "open-door policy" is no joke. Sambora says the list of musicians who have stopped by and ended up recording music with the duo includes The Doors' Robby Krieger (who appears on one Rise track) and Paul McCartney drummer Abe Laboriel Jr. "You never know who is going to wander through," Sambora adds. (Alice Cooper also appears on the EP, though - and perhaps more fittingly - Orianthi says he recorded his vocals from what's known as "Dracula's castle" in Transylvania)."

Where Robby Krieger in this EP? and Alice Cooper also appears on this EP?

I think that's a mistake by the article writer, I don't hear Alice on the EP...probably means the album...
