They just have an internal hate for Richie since he left the band that hey cannot get over...

I dont think fans of the band hate him,I dont, but his way of leaving the band is cruel and rude and he is lost respect for that.
Negativity here is present all the time, maybe we are not "fans" like it should be.
Fan for me is not be harsh or rude or unfair to the band by saying "they sound like shit" "Jon cant sing" "lyrics are the same and bridge is awful" "Jon with grey hair is not rock star" and so many stuff.
Fan for me is respect for the band,I dont accept and agree with everything they do but I respect them, they are still around, for how long,no matter. I will enjoy as much as I can in everything they do.
People here say this is discussion forum, yes but discuss doesnt mean spitting on bands work and pretending oyu know better like everyone here are music experts, you are not.

I don't agree with this at all... TBH, Bon Jovi were getting so repetitive that I was actually okay with the split... Being a fan of their past solo projects, I thought we'd get some good stuff from both Jon and Richie... Double the albums of different material... Instead we got this RSO shit... and Have A Nice Day part 5..

Liking everything without being critical = fanboy
Liking something because it is good = fan

Fans can be critical of the current Bon Jovi but still acknowledge how great they once were. I don't think that is unfair.

True. People on this forum judge others way too easily.

liking everything and being critical-what is that? I am this.
I only have problem to read here critics which includes words: shit-ass-they are gone-they are finished-they are history and other ugly words to describe something about band.
if they are things you named them, why they are still filling arenas, stadiums, when they go to arenas about 2000 to 5000 and not doing stadium at all I will respect them and say farewell, you were great.

Look, this is the situation. I am telling you this is a dog.

You however say you can't say for sure this is a dog because that's just hearsay. Until an official statement is released, you will point out to everyone that we don't know for sure if this a dog. Now you can wait for the real statements to co connect the dots all you want, but Richie will never admit he got pissed and Jon will never admit his football team got in the way of keeping a band together.

Salaam Aleikum,

Sebastiaan

I don't like to ignore posts directed to me, because that seems rude, imo. And I also don't like unfinished business. But I can understand the frustrations of those who have complained about the thread getting swallowed up by the back and forth of OT discussions and I feel guilty about contributing to those often multiple-page derailments. Out of respect for those who come here to check on the latest news or updates or to participate in on-topic discussions, I'm going to try something a little different.

I've copied and reposted this on the "Anything" thread. If I understand it correctly, the purpose for that thread is to provide a place for posts that technically don't belong on any other thread. I thought we could try it and if it works, in the future, OT discussions that start out here (or on any other thread) can be moved to that thread and continue for as long as anyone is interested in pursuing them, while the original threads can stay focused on more current content about the topic. If anyone can suggest another solution, please share it.

Seb, my response to this post (if you're interested, that is), can be found here:

why Richie left the band? who cares anymore,he left without saying anything, for Jon,Dave and Tico that is closed. Jon ,Dave and Tico for sure, who save him so many times and he is not even able to say Jon I dont want to tour this year or couple next years,at least is unprofessional.
Now is that because Jons football ambition or something else, its not important because Jon saved the band at the beginning of nineties and he is the boss, other can follow or not,Richie is not follower anymore.
Richie goodbye,Phil X wellcome!

Your bitchin' about it is as repetitive as the stuff you criticize. If you can't deal with it, then this board probably simply isn't the place for you. You're not gonna change any user's attitude with that.

I'm in love with this song. To tell the truth, I'm enjoying more than I expected the two RSO ep now.

I let my Richie's anger aside. There are very good songs on this, although they can not do justice to them live
You're welcome, jon-flp. I enjoy the new stuff, too. And I'm looking forward to hearing what else they come out with.
