Pretty sure it didn't perform on billboard. Again, I'm not sure why anyone thinks it would. Everyone that wants the songs has them already. Anyone interested would probably have just brought the last 2 tracks digitally, which wouldn't count towards sales...

Almost Zero promo and selling to a fan base that already has the tracks only = hardly any sales...

Add to that ignoring Europe and UK, where they would probably have gained the most sales, had anyone over here been aware that the album was even released...

I'm not sure what their management is doing. I could promote them 500% better than they are currently promoting themselves. It's very frustrating...

Billboard 200 will not update this week until Wed. because of the Memorial Day Holiday.
If they were not on it last week, which would have included when the pre sales went out - don't expect to see it.

They were on the Scottish Billboard, position 95 last week. That wouldn't take a significant amount of sales - but neither does low on the 200.

I want to see Soundscan reports - anyone know a contact? Mine died - literally.

They are not imo selling - too much separation of a fan base and not a significant one for them as a duo. Promotion was primarily social media - it was all over mine and I'm not a fan. They also IMO were counting on HOF attention and the PBS show to garner attention. People, casual fans which are needed, formulated for the most part their opinion back when Masterpiece came out and the comments were predominantly negative. Doc had his work cut out for him and remember this is self funded, a label doesn't mean a contract (stated in at least 2 interviews) so whatever budget he puts out - is all the promotion it will be given. So much had to go into the recording. Too many studios, producers and time. Ava shared today at the airport, so it appears another vacation - seems that they are not too worried about it. If they wanted to promote this - it would take shows. They cancelled all 4 solo gigs in OZ, would have to do small venues and lower prices, to get attention. No way this isn't red ink - seems Fashion would have been a lesson. Or even AMOL - he was dropped by Dangerbird a few weeks after release and he was already a partner on it. It was 10 fold better than this.

I just want to see it finally sink in that it won't work. I'd like to see a Richie Solo album before he can't any more - his performances have been unpredictable at best the last 4 years. She's already talking about hers, but her soon for this one was over 4 years. So no telling when. The cover (Hellbound Train) on the album this was the best thing on it. Do wonder if he could do it live? I don't see him and Jon mending fences - just didn't feel it to me. Maybe someday in the far off future, then it would be a money grab as reunion show.

So the first bit of promo they do for a song that is clearly an Ori song, labelled as RSO and on the album, they put a lyric video up on just Ori's official channel.

It baffles me that they release an album of which we already have 99 % of the songs ..... really ? And on a side note .... whats the point of a lyric video ???

Crazy. From the information under the video, I'm not sure "they" are doing anything:

"Blues Won't Leave Me Alone Lyric Video OUT NOW - www.IAmOrianthi.com"? With no reference at all to RSOofficial?

If your last line refers to you, I think Richie is way ahead of you.

It seems to me like he checked out a long time ago. He was more convincing when he tried to sell TC and WAN as a return to real rock than he's been trying to sell this album as something he's proud of or excited about. Maybe I've just gotten jaded when it comes to promotional interviews, but I didn't believe his BS about those albums and I sure as hell ain't buying it about this one.

It's just baffling, Ori definitely seems to be promoting her own brand at the mo. But doing that through an RSO track is just odd.

I'm hoping it's cos Richie is busy with Bob Rock working on a new solo album! But I think he might be just going on more holidays! If that's what he wants, I get it, can't blame him, but as a fan it's frustrating as hell...

It took how many years to put this out and it was a few EPs lazily thrown together as an album. Their target audience isn't going to buy product twice. But to work that many years and have so many delays for something they don't care enough to do anything about. Like if this was a three, four month process whatever but this is something they talked about ad nauseam for how long? Weird.

Aftermath charted about place 150 in the Billboard Chats and back then Richie did a lot of promo. I think when you are Richie Sambora you do not really care what place you are in the charts if you are so far back.

i think Richie believed in this project in the first years, but as time passed by the enthuciasm wore off because there wasnt any true response to Rso...
When the alternative is a super successful band, with money, fans, exposure, glam, high profile gigs etc...
Richie isnt the musician who will experiment and play in every available club..
he is more social in comparison to jbj but still wants to perform in big crowds..
in a way that was the curse of richie, he wanted to sing and front his own band... bj happened and even if he had a very big role in bj felt trapped and limited..in truth i guess richie wanted to sing and be his boss..
the rso project imo didnt work, no true chemistry, not great songs and mediocre live shows..
i hope richie releases sth new solo fast...wishful thinking

to come back on topic richie invested time and money in Rso but i think he has moved on...he would at least promote a couple of songs at social media, he gave up on the project and im the reason is the lack of interest from the music fans...
