Blabbermouth: Orianthi...was replaced by Nita Strauss...in (2014)...In a 2015 interview...Nita...said..."Orianthi fans hate me ...(She) is...a great player, but we have such disparate styles that the fanbase doesn't cross over..."

First "handout" accomplished -- and it's easy to lose weight quickly when your "diet" is suddenly reduced to "handouts." At any rate, you heard it here first, LOL!

Orianthi will be hard pressed to even make it back to where she was, in that I think you are 100% right and I guess that is your point. I can't argue with it.

To be fair though, that is an ancient interview with Nita and Orianthi herself has always been very complimentary to her and vice versa. Also the part of your analysis about pop tart was several years out of date even when you wrote it, so don't let it get to your head, too much

As for the rest of it, it's just Coops doing Coops things. Orianthi being there was as inevitable as sunshine after rain. That's how he operates. If anything I was surprised she didn't stand in for Nita when Nita was attending to her sister's wedding during the first two nights of the tour.

Orianthi won't be getting the gig back though, since Roxie has the parts she would be most suited to play, Tommy is there for high notes Alice can no longer reach as well as he is his resident producer, and Nita has achieved divinity in large part of his fan base. And like she said, they are completely different players, although Alice doesn't really utilize Nita too much for what she is. Most of the songs with shredding have again been dropped from the set list. Most of them aren't his best songs at all, so I don't mind.

Thought some may find this interesting - web page Setlist FM complies lists of information on artists and for RSO this is the listing of songs they performed during shows and how many times each song was done. I think it is 27 unique songs. Their originals are low on the play list but don't think anyone is surprised considering the way it released.
Kind of worthless trivia but enjoy finding sometimes.

Social Media Update: She is imo childish in her behaviour so she had unfollowed Richie on social media. She started to follow him again this Sunday - I think they may be on the mend......

Ori is answering questions on Instagram stories. Someone asked her what the current status of RSO is and her text reply was "is there a cricket emoji?"

Dunzo.
