Nah, I don't blame him -- he was being ambushed. Imagine having to hang out at airports like vultures waiting for celebrities to come along and try to get them to say something controversial.

What did he do that put him in the wrong? Brushing off the paparazzi to get inside or did I miss something?

That didn't seem odd to you??? He first takes a stumble step and can't answer a basic Mets / Royals question... that's not brushing off the paparazzi, that's just a weird... If he didn't want to be bothered, he should have just ignored him in the first place...

I thought he seemed "less" odd than some of the recent press. But - the first thing they ask him about is Lemar Odom - is that because he's such an expert on overcoming addiction or because it was just irony to ask him? He did seem to stumble on how to respond.

I don't see anything wrong with it. The questions were stupid. Opening with a question about advice for Lamar Odom to get sober was rude of the paparazzi. And maybe he doesn't honestly give a crap about baseball and just said he did to be polite.

Maybe I'm too optimistic on his condition but like another poster suggested, I think he might just be turning into a dick. Being constantly on the defensive, trying to do your own thing while being constantly asked when he's coming back to Jovi,trying to appear confident while brushing off a canceled club tour and a failed album like it was nothing. It can really make anyone appear like a dick....
