I guess you weren't around for the uproar when he went blond briefly. Hair is big topic on this board for some reason that I still can't understand. You'd think a male dominated board would be less interested in other men's hair.

You said "gray" not "blond", don't change the subject, please. Blond is about experimenting, gray is about aging.
I know that JON's hair is a big thing here but Richie's? Not that much! I'll repeat: nobody ever commented upon his gray beard.

Never heard about the Beatles? "Hair" the musical? Hair bands? (kidding!) Long hair is a statement and so is your hair color and style.
Male fans just don't like Jon's current businessman look, we said it repeatedly in several threads, did you miss them?

To Becky's point this board used to chase out anyone who focused on Jon's hair and looks. She's not saying that people caring about hair is weird, it's that it's happening HERE. It probably has a lot to do with the band's off period. There just ain't much to focus on until announcements are made.

Haha! You still can't grasp humor, can you. Read your own sentence, you're the only one here who needs to calm down! I used the word kidding! and a smiling smiley and yet you think that I'm angry or something? Looks like aggressing me every time I write something you don't like or understand is your only answer. *sigh*

Still SHE is the one who brought out the subject by using an old pun.
When you derail a thread on purpose you got to expect some kind of reaction. If you can't stand a running gag, just don't start it, plain & simple!

If you reread all your replies its comes across like you're going to have a a heart attack at the thought of Richie having gray hair. The lump some total of them such as snapping at me for daring to compare a reaction to a change to blond to a change to gray shows you are the one who can't just let a throw away line/ joke go because God forbid Richie didn't look the cliche part of a rock star. You were the dog with a bone that would not let go.

THAT is only the interpretation of your humorless sick mind. Check my previous posts, they clearly prove I couldn't care less about the way THEY look, whenever I talk about it, it's for fun, only for fun.

I rest my case. If you reread all your replies its comes across like you always change subjects and become aggressive whenever someone says something you don't like or understand and can't find a witty reply. Accusing others of your own anger and temper is your usual defence strategy, you do it all the time, I'm not the only one here who had to cope with it before.
Now FYI, I've been making a living out of my mastery of languages for over 3 decades now, I guess it proves I have no communication problem, or else I would have been told before and never been published.
Can we go back to the topic now?

So all that bad blood that might have been there after Jon fired him is gone, I guess.
I remember a French radio interview* from the mid or late 90s in which Jon explained he kept on supporting McGhee despite the drug affair because he's a friend and they (Jon + the other BJ members) are loyal to their friends no matter what.

* I can't post it for technical reasons, I had mentioned it last year and now I don't even remember where it is!
