No, he reminds me of the kid in the Always video... which is just a bad knockoff.

This kid does not have a fraction of the talent, vocal abilities, and charismatic appeal that a young JBJ once had.

He'd be better off trying out as the new 5th member of One Direction.

The fact that Bob Rock was producing him and that Richie is co-writing and playing with him shows where his influences come from. This song was clearly made to tap into that Imagine Dragons, One Republic fan base. Maybe there's some gold on the album. I just hope this does not signal how Richie's album is being produced...

the fact that he decided to pick sth like that for his first single shows zero artistic integrity and smartness...he is just a cute guy who has some money and tries to make it in hollywood.
in the process of a career u ll make mistakes but the first couple of choices u make shows what u r standing for.
i predict uninspired songs with a couple sambora solos in there...

God, what was that? I never seemed to understand the need to show someone playing instruments that you don't hear on the track (like guitars, drums for the most part, etc.)

i was sure someone would come up with bj's first 2 albums...unfair comparison...1)show me romans runaway-in and out of love-tokyo road etc...
2)this videoclip is dreadful but we are talking about 30 years back...back in the day it was just bad...really bad...
3)the future will show if roman has it in him..it looks like he has the connections and the budget to work with certain people...i just dont hear any good songs yet

As far as the comparison goes, when Bon Jovi was first starting out it was a different era, record companies gave bands more opportunities, I don't even think the public allows you to grow before you come into your own artistically on your third album.

NO. I hate that song. I hate roman music, so ridiculous as the video.

this is bored. We need new music, real songs, no roman songs.
