And of course, it couldn't possibly be something as simple as, "Hey, this is fun! I like you; you like me. We share a common interest. Let's roll with it, see where it goes, and enjoy it while it lasts."

Or maybe even something more simple than that (if anyone here is old enough to remember Zelda wrinkling her nose at Dobie Gillis) : "Propinquity!"

Maybe she has a lucrative musical career, but her career is still young. Being Richie's girlfriend, will help her to open more doors in the industry and gain more fans. She has more to gain and he has more lose.

That may be true. (Of course, to hear others tell it, Richie's the one riding or HER coattails. )

Either way they've both been in the industry long enough and Richie, at least, has been involved in enough relationships that I doubt either is walking into something with "eyes wide shut". That is, if it's even "something" that they're walking into. A little hand-holding or dating wouldn't necessarily lead to a more permanent relationship and may not cost either of them anything.

(Not that it's any of my business anyway...not sure why I even felt the need to respond. I think I may be bored...going away now... I'll see myself out. )

Just for the record, her money doesn't compare to Richie's money. Just because she plays with all-stars doesn't mean she gets paid like one. She is literally nothing.

Heather Locklear signed a prenup when they were married almost 20 years ago. Could you imagine what he's worth now? And that was Heather Locklear who had a real career.

She is a fly by night but at least she could say that she slept with Richie Sambora.

Richie looks like shit bty. He's got a stomach with no muscle tone, his hair looks like a wig, his facial hair doesn't work, and he just looks so strung out.

That's not the same Richie who promoted Aftermath just 2 years ago.

I didn't say she had anywhere near the money Richie had but she's touring with big acts and along with session work etc she doesn't need the hand outs of Richie to live a good life.
