I might feel a little more confident about it if the September 22 date had been posted on the website or even if theqof "soon" had posted it without prompting. But it seems like it was just a response to a fan's question about a date for the album. Not an announcement per se.
You could be right that this is just a subtle effort to get a buzz going, but if so, it's very subtle. I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if anything happens on the 22nd. But as I said earlier, at least it's a Friday. That's something, anyway.
BTW, where did you hear they're working with official community.com? Maybe I overlooked it, but when I checked their site I didn't see any mention of RSO. |
100 percent agreed. Dropping a date gets people talking. Dropping a date in something you can only see if you click Tweets and replies on one half of the member's twitter isn't designed to drum up people talking. She answered a question, she didn't do it to get people excited and wondering what's happening. I'm not saying this as someone bitter OR as someone out of date with info. I've been in date with every bit of info that has changed after announced. There's a third sub category that is baffled with this project.
As for Official Community, it's on the RSO website. It looks like they're running it. (
