No it isn't. Adding a banjo doesn't make things country and adding heavy guitars deep in the mix doesn't make it rock music either. This supposed diversity can be traced back to the albums boybands were making in the late nineties, early zeros. Or is Backstreet's Back a rock song to you as well?
