The thing with her age is, she had a good shot and buzz. She had magazine covers and she was actually starting to get studio gigs more regularily. I think she was almost too old back then, and quite happy for her.
Now she is older and she has lost a lot of following like myself. She had sort of passive crowd to draw from with Cooper, that she has lost. She is almost back in the square two so to say.
She is older, not any better - it seems they didn't spend too much time practicing which she used to do, a lot. There are a lot of good guitar players take Neil Swanson - who played as the third guitar with Richie and Ori a while ago - he is amazing. Yet, there he was.
Richie on the other hand has a name that can never be taken away from him. It is not quite Jon Bon Jovi but it is a name. If he comes up with a good song it might sell. Ori on the other hand - might not.
And in the end for Richie, I expect sooner or later he will be back with the band.
Richie is an older gentleman and in all fairness he has done his share for the world in the earlier days of Bon Jovi and earned the right to do whatever the hell he wants. He can afford it, too.
Ori on the other hand will have to make a living. Look at Jennifer Batten who too is mind bogglingly good. She is older but is the difference relevant? Ori will not be able to get ahead with her looks for that much longer, either.
