Default Petition for 3rd single - Please Read

On a previous post, someone brought this up, and I think it's a good idea.

There's been lots of talk on here with the release of Have A Nice Day, already out in Europe and Asia, and out in the US on Tuesday. We know there are strong points to the album, and we know there are weak points.

From what I've read, just about everyone agrees that "Who Says You Can't Go Home" is weak, boring, been there-done that Bon Jovi material, that the record company will end up releasing as a single.

Now, why should we be against this and care about it? Simple - If the record company continues to promote Bon Jovi in this light, then Bon Jovi will continue recording crappy songs like this. And more so, will take away obviously greater songs such as "I Am", "Novocaine", "I Wanna Be Loved", or "Complicated".

I have to admit - For a while I didn't understand Seb's point of view. But after reading more of his posts and seeing what he has to say, I sort of get it. And I get it, because strangely, I agree. Bon Jovi is so much more capable of producing beter music, but when the record company forces a song like "Who Says" as a single, it just keeps happening over and over again.

So, enough of this rant. I've gotten an email address and contact information for Island/Def Jam. You don't have to agree with everything I've said, but if you understand at all where I'm coming from, sign your name (or username will be fine) to this petition, to send off to the record company.

You do realise that a petition like this has no chance of working?

must work... We DONT want Who Says for 3rd single...

So, we can try (Keep The Faith peope) to put some online petition for lets say I Am to be third single and signe petiton, spread it... Then we can spam Island Records and some Bon Jovi oompas, or their official mail, if they have one with that petiton...

So, lets try people...

If Minardi fans can, why BJ fans would not?

It's hard to believe, but in the last ten months, just ten months, deals
have been done that will see four well known names disappear from the
grid. We have lost Jaguar, and are now set to lose Sauber (BMW), Jordan
(Midland F1) and now Minardi.

Much like Canute trying to hold back the tide, a group of fans are
attempting to persuade the powers that be to retain the Minardi name.

They don't really stand a chance, but like Randal P. McMurphy, at least
they can say they tried.

The petition to retain the Minardi name can be found here at
http://www.forzaminardi.com/modules....rticle&sid=602 .

i've come to the conclusion that petitions are stupid. also we can never agree as to which song should be the third single.
i'd like last man standing but many people think it's not radio friendly. i don't care about the charts.
and i bet many people on backstage looove wildflower or who says, songs that i kinda dislike.

Didn't the whole "Come to australia" thing start as an online petition? I'm game. There's loads better single choices.
