Then we could at least have hard they way the songs are supposed to sound live.
To be precise, they auto-tuned the 2013 stream, that means Jon didn't re-record anything. Someone opened the lead vocal track and fixed the out of key notes on the right places and then remixed it with the other channels and voila!

Thanks for clearing it up
I seem to be pretty alone with wanting to polish some vocals. If we want to have a "raw Jon" we have the broadcast or other bootleg. Like I said earlier, I awlays prefer a live album to be 100 % live but in this case Jon sounds really weak on a lot of songs. It's not a recording that will convince anyone to buy a ticket for the tour imo. Kind of sad as the band actually sounds really good on certain tracks.

I gave it a listen last night.

The only positive I can take from it is Tico's drumming. It's probably the only thing that's reminiscent of classic Bon Jovi.

The rest is very mediocre . The fact they released this while ignoring opportunities throughout the years when the band sounded good is a bitter pill to swallow.

Imagine this up against Guns 'N' Roses or Aerosmith live?

I am sure this cd could have been mixed better... not sure Obbie is the best. No denying that Jon is way past his best but there is something about this live cd that I like. Not sure I can explain it but it's genuine where it could so easily have been polished in the studio. Some tracks sound better than on the actual album to me and I still like the extended outro on THINFS. Brilliant? No. Honest? Yes.

I'm not buying the argument "casual fans won't buy tickets if they hear the state of Jon's voice." Casual fans aren't critiquing the performances like we are here. Casual fans go to Bon Jovi shows for a party night out.

100 percent. The earth won't fall off its axis if casual fans hear him sing live or see him on tv. I can't defend him, he's lost a lot of vocal power and it's made me want to maybe skip the tour but everyone still wants to hear the hits.

Not sure if it has been posted before, but BJ store are offering a package with a digital download including track commentary from the live shows - 27 tracks in all. Could be exclusive to the site unless I missed something. Link to the BJ EU store below.

That appears to be the stories as told live rather than a separate unheard of commentary, just in case anyone thought it was something else. So they have 2 versions of it after all, one with and one without the in-between stuff.

It definitely is. There is no comment on Living With The Ghost because Jon played THINFS and Ghost without pause. The same happens in others such as Knockout-Labor of Love and God Bleess-Reunion.
