Back in 2008 I even bought the "Lost Highway" concert on CD. While the DVD was a worldwide release, I think the audio CD was limited to the german market. There was no point in getting it as I already had the DVD, but seeing it on the shelf on the day of the Munich concert I just couldn't resist...

While I collected several copies of most of the albums, I lost that enthusiasm after LH. While TC and WAN didn't offer really any different international versions that I considered woth collecting, I wouldn't have spent the money anyway. Now with THINFS it's different. For the first time in years I feel that excitement of a new BJ release that could lead to purchasing a different version (the one with "Color me In"). Bit like in the old days. Being a fan of live albums anyway this is a treat for me.

I didn't really follow the promo gigs in order not to spoil myself, but started only watching some videos post the album release, I think from what I've gathered around here the London show is considered the best of the 4?
Right on Simon.
I'm similar to you in which I refrained from watching or listening to most of the album live until after the studio release. The handful of songs I've recently heard live in the four shows via YouTube, London was above the rest for me.

I'm thrilled. I just hope they don't cut out the stories between the songs.

Also thrilled! I think most of us already have it, but I'm happy to see an official release and will pick it up on day one. I figured it qould happen later as a tour edition double CD.

I think they will. The existing set is longer than CD length.

As long as when they eventually release the show on DVD/Blueray, they refrain from cutting out the dialogue. I want to treat this more like second version of THINFS, a live take on it's production. Correct me if I'm wrong, isn't this unprecedented for the band to release a new studio album and then a live album containing those songs just over a month later? It's like they're turning into Pearl Jam. Lol
Lovin' it!!

Right on!!
I've bought 5 total exclusive copies of THINFS from Tartget for family and friends while possesing the iTunes version as well. Now the live CD and then the vinyl boxset in 2017. I'm certainly doing my part to support the band.
If that turns out to be the cover art on the last page for the new live release, it's beyond fantastic.
Let's bask in the good times.
Enjoy!!

I've purchased 2 copies of every album since inception so I'll definitely be getting a copy or two for my collection... I think most people, including myself, will appreciate this album in its more natural state without the overproduction...

I was just hoping for a greatest performance of the 4 shows...
