I saw a commercial for the album earlier and it said something like "Thirty years and still #1."

And I think I have nailed the last THINFS at the Target store closest to me

I didn't get the last one. I have to wait until they get more in stock You can not get the Target version anywhere within a 100 miles of where I live! I have never had this much trouble getting a BJ album. Of course, I normally order from Amazon, but they don't have the version I want. However, it is great the album is selling so well and so fast

I think it may be have to settle for #2 or #3 in Australia. It was #1 on iTunes for a while, but local band Birds of Tokyo have been #1 for last 36 hours or so. Then there is the Ministry of Sound compilation album which usually does pretty well.

I'd love it to go #1 in Australia. It would be their 10th #1 album (including Cross Road & Greatest Hits) here Down Under.

That would have been nice. But I'm thankful it is #1 anywhere I was seriously concerned about this album. I would be willing to bet that Jon was also whether he would admit it or not.

I have learned so much on this forum in the short time I have been on here. I have a question about the record charts. I was on the Ebay site and there are copies of THINFS from it seems like all over! Some sellers from the U.K. had listed how many copies they had already sold. And the last time I looked one seller had 11, another 19, and yet another 89 since what they are selling is the U.K. version of the album those albums sold no matter where the person is from that buys them all count as Bon Jovi's sales in the U.K.?

Purchases off Ebay will not count no. Although depending on where the Ebay seller bought them from it may count.

The sellers I was talking about are all from the U.K. themselves. Ebay gives the location of the item like this Item location:
Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom

Afaik, Ebay isn't tracked as a merchant for chart purposes. The people who bought from Ebay won't be counted towards the charts- however, depending on how/where the seller bought their copies from, these could still count i.e. in simplistic terms, if the seller bought 10 from HMV and then sold on to Ebay, the 10 would count at original point of purchase.

Really? I got mine from eBay. To me it's the same as going to store X. They buy an amount of copies directly from the source, you buy from them. Same as buying from an eBay shop or at least that's how I understand it. I got my CD on the 1st of November from an UK seller so it wouldn't make sense that they got it from a retailer and then "re-sold" it when all UK retailers had it on the 4th. Would it?

It would be different if it was a used copy which it wasn't obviously.

I think I get what you are saying but I don't get why it wouldn't count if it's an eBay shop
