If its like the Little Mix tickets I tried to get for my daughter then its 1 album per order. So 1 ticket 1 album or 6 Tickets 1 album. Either way you get 1 album.

Right now there are 20 U.S. shows on sale so even if they averaged 10K each, that would be 200K albums just based on the concerts alone... Do the downloads count as physical copies and just the streams are excluded??? Or maybe they do get as may per ticket, however people are only claiming 1 download... I guess this is part of the deal with the record company. A way for them to capitalize off Jon's touring machine... Tickets prices are adjusted and each time someone cashes in the download, the money gets taken from the tour and it's handed over to the record company... Very Clever!!!

So maybe the album would have sold just as poor in the US if the tickets didn't go on sale... And then once the European concert tickets go on sale, you'll see a spike in album sales... So I wonder how many albums were purchased outside the tour.. You have to figure that most fans have the physical album so they aren't going to even bother with the Download, especially if it's just an MP3 version...
From press release:
..."One CD per online ticket, not valid for tickets purchased via TM+ or Ticket Exchange."

I didn't go to Slane but by accounts it was terrible. I can't see many promoters pushing for stadiums if a new tour does materialise.
Their standing has dropped in Europe - no doubt. They've lost a lot of fans for a lot of reasons.

However, Slane wasn't terrible by any means. It was a very good gig especially given the pressure and the turmoil in the band at the time.

Another poster said that the reviews were terrible. They weren't. The Irish Times don't rate Bon Jovi at all but they gave a grudgingly decent, if shallow, review (http://www.irishtimes.com/culture/mu...ayer-1.1430554).

Ticket sales were slow but there was a decent crowd there in the end. The week before there were rumours of 20-30k tickets and the show even being cancelled. In the event, Slane was pretty full (although nowhere near capacity). It also didn't help that Bon Jovi had the lowest profile supporting acts in the history of the event (until Eminem who, admittedly, did sell out). Think back to the glory days of Slane and the support acts sold thousands of tickets in their own right.

The lack of promotion, a decline in quality since 2000, Sambora leaving and over exposure in the last 15 years have all contributed to the decline in my view. However, we bang on about Jon being too focused on album sales rather than musical quality and now they've released a really good album, a lot of the same people are banging on about poor sales.

Yep Crush was the last number 1. Bounce was beaten by David Gray is memory serves which was a shock at the time to me at least (although Gray was huge at the time).

I was hoping they'd have a number 1 before 2020 because, if they did, they'd have number 1 albums in 4 different decades in the UK. However, these things don't matter hugely in the scheme of things.

Also, KTF only reached 5 in the US in 1992. They turned it around in the US. Maybe they will do the same in the UK/Europe.

Totally expected. That's what usually happens when there are no strong singles, nor critical acclaim - only the initial push from the fanbase.
