Aerosmith
The Beach Boys
Dire Straits

I think Aerosmith at least go above Bon Jovi. I remember reading some years ago that they were on 150 million. Surely has gone up since then. I don't think the other bands would pass Bon Jovi, however.

Also, 15th all-time best-selling artist is clearly wrong. 15th best-selling band maybe.

Although Cross Roads is a compilation album, it also sold 20 plus million copies WW and deserves to be included in that figure...

It's does over all but not in this list as it's not a "new" album

I think some of that list really shows the change in the music industry. If it were back in the day, I think THINFS would definitely have better sales than what is projected.

Well thankfully it didn't get any worse from the midweeks and ended up at No.25 for UK week 2.

Cliff Richard smashed out a new banger straight in at No.4 though

Unfortunately they are in free fall mode now everywhere

It's well deserved tho and I don't see it changing. Maybe if they take a looooong couple years touring all over the world, with lots of breaks between legs, delivering what the fans expect and know they are capable of, without the added pressure of doing a 100 shows tour in a year to get the #1 touring spot, MAYBE future releases will still be top10 in the markets were they used to have mostly #1 and they will be remembered as a strong live act until they called it quits.

This is what I want and what they deserve, a recognition for their hard work. I know Jon gets blinded by all those Billboard #1's but that won't fill the stadiums anymore. I hope he learned the lesson the last time and doesn't underestimate the fans again

Not only does Cliff move faster than Jon nowadays but he's always beating him in the charts and all at the grand old age of 112.
