I was at both RDS shows in 2011 and although the shows were good by the present day standards I could sense a lack of anticipation and atmosphere that I'd felt in previous Dublin shows and the 2nd night was half empty.
I didn't go to Slane but by accounts it was terrible. I can't see many promoters pushing for stadiums if a new tour does materialise.

I was at Slane and didn't think it was a terrible show - the atmosphere was pretty good where I was, and they played 3 hours worth of songs that I wanted to hear.
The What About Now songs did fall flat and Richie was missing in certain songs - but it was still a good show, not a terrible one (except the 2 mile walk back killed me!)
I certainly didn't leave disappointed.
