It's a shame that the whole album will be played live before we get to know the songs, hope they actually do some like that after the album is out. Full album plus greatest hits set is fairly common now

It's very smart marketing of them, Jon can't hit the notes on a lot of the classics. He'll be in his range and comfortzone all these promo shows.

Do you really think that he will sound good on "Knockout"? I think even "This house is not for sale" will be a huge challenge for him.

However I think there is a risk that the people on the social media channels will discuss rather the outrageous prices than the quality of the new record or their performance. I just read the first comments like "because my house is not for sale, I can't afford your tickets prices". Maybe they won't get the promotion they have in mind and we will see something similar to the O2 disaster.

Matt is hinting it wont be JUST the new album as they havent done a 40 minute set since 1983 (which is crazily not true) so I'd wager the hits being included. I dont think Jon will have problems with This house is not for sale, the song, it's the coming homes that maybe might have to be arranged throughout the band.

I wouldn't bet against them using a sample for that part.

Good.. he can play the acoustic during THINFS rather than Jon planted behind the mic stand strumming away, draining the energy from the song.

Nah, Jon will still do that when (and because) we wants to. Otherwise, he would had never played guitar since Bobby joined.

Can't wait to hear THINFS live! I have started liking the song more and more, that last part right at the ending when Jon says "Oh this house is not for sale" is freaking great, even though it's not a high note or a challenging for his vocals, I love the way he delivers that line!! Like he really means it.

Is there anyone else here who likes that part very very much?

I sure as hell hope for something like this to happen. I remember very well when Jon was asked about the ridiculous ticket prices during some UK show in 2009 and he desperately tried to smile his way out of that discussion.
