I don't know if it was my ears, but the clip they played on The One Show last night of THINFS seemed a little bit sped up, and in turn gave it a little more punch.

It was definitely sped up but I wasn't too keen.

There's something deeper to it, which I like.
It definitely would fit as a b-side to something from These Days era.

As for a leak of the album, I said it won't happen, but now that it's been circulated to media, I don't think it will take long before someone "distributes" it.

I think I know what my issue with THINFS is... Lyrically and attitude wise it should come across quite aggressively, but musically it doesn't. It's like they want to be gritty, but also want to exude the usual positivity. For me, that mix doesn't quite work.
Then there's the video in which Jon is all smiles, and again, it doesn't go with the meaning of the song.

Just discussing the songs so far with the wife, and we both agree on one thing.
They all miss Richie's harmonizing - all 3 songs would be a level or two better if they had that in them.

Nothing anyone can do about that though.
Nope it is the one thing missing with Richie - it's strangely not so much his guitar but those backing vocals. But I do like they seem to have included the remaining band members more to fill the gap and cover for Jon's vocals too.

Also I agree with This House is Not For Sale - somethings still not clicking with me with the song. When I stick it on I enjoy listening to it, but at the same time I almost don't want to listen to it. Weird!

Just heard Labor of Love (I know- I'm late to the party) and loved it. I wish it was released to radio.

Bon Jovi - Open All Night Lyrics (unreleased) - YouTube

So you packed your bags you said you're leaving tonight
You gotta catch the last train to the big city lights
It's your life, better get on board
Oh yeah. I posted the same yesterday. The first time I heard it, I was just listening to his voice, I didn't analyze anything else, it screamed mid to late 90s boxset type of song to me and I love those songs so I was extremely happy.

But then I kept humming the melody until I realized it was Open All Night. So now I'm super duper happy like my kids would say

I wouldn't change anything. I'm aware of its weak points, but when you like a song a lot, over analyzing to death just to find a tiny little thing that could be improved just detracts from the experience imho. I wouldn't like an album full of songs like Labor of Love, but one or even a couple brings diversity, which I really like in an album.

true some minor here and there but like everybody said before it's what it is...i like the song too..
Now since we got 3 singles..THINFS - KNOCKOUT - LABOR OF LOVE and all of them are completely different sound if i may say, and can't wait for the other songs to be released..

Anway been seeing alot of Jon Bon Jovi on the tv and hearing him on the radio promoting THINFS album..ALONE..Why he didn't take David or Tico i wonder..
Weird coz he used to go everywhere promoting it with Richie
