I'm very confused right now. People around here keep talking about how Jon's voice sounds great with the new songs or that Jon can put up a good show. I think I've never seen his voice so weak and him being so static on stage during the whole show.

I don't understand if people posting here simply accept the fact that Jon has lost all the power in his voice and they are ok with that (which I think is great), or really think that Jon sounds fantastic. Cause I've seen posts saying that his voice is so much better than the past year, when I hear it almost exactly the same, but this time he hasn't had to sing the classics.

In the last albums he could sing the songs almost as good as in the studio version, but now he can't even sing THINFS. Maybe it's just me. Am I the only one who thinks that?

No, I'm with you on this. Even in 2013 his voice was enjoyable. But now...

Exactly. In 2013 maybe he lost range, but he still had power. I really enjoyed those shows.

You're not the only one, but I guess we're tired of the drama. this is what it is., and with respect to the new songs, some sound great, okay, his voice is not perfect, is very damaged, but the guy puts passion in the matter, and that's enough for me. "Scars", "Bless" or "Come Up" are good live, because Jon sings this with some passion, his voice is not that bad, I could live with this kind of songs.

I think he was always reading from the auto cue. His eyes were always glancing at the lyrics that were scrolling on stage. Obviously he needs the support with that until the songs have been locked in.

I'm with you 100%

Yesterday I actually compared Bad Medicine and We Don't Run 2015 vs. 2016. The band sounds tighter, the extra backup vocals, help, but Jon himself sounds exactly the same.

He manages OK with songs that were recorded last year to match his current range (downtuned), but once they start playing proper longer shows with more old hits, people will forget any improvement they think they are hearing now.

This album might be awesome, lets see next 21th

What I know is that it has to give it all to defeat The Circle as the best post these days album.
HAND was a very interesting álbum and if you see the reviews we msde all of us was amazed... It is easy to remark one New álbum/song as the best of the decade blablabla... and months later let it fall into the darkness of your music collection

What I know is, despite I liked WAN, none of the songs made me feel flipping out... Just something I could feel in HAND and some songs here (born again tomorrow, rollercoaster and living with the Ghost), which songs make me think the amazing Bon Jovi I knew is back ready to kick my ass

Maybe that's the reason. Makes sense, it's not like Jon were too old now and couldn't move around on stage.

I like the new songs too, and that's why I'm really excited to hear the album version with Jon at his best right know. I'm really looking forward to Scars (more than the rest), Come up, Born Again Tomorrow, Devil and Rollercoaster (this last one sounds to me a little bit like those pop songs from HAND that I can't stand, but this has something that I like)

I can understand static Jon if he's not got the lyrics nailed down yet. Movement should come as the songs become more familiar.

The voice is still really bad, far worse than 2013, but it's not as much of an issue on the new songs, and in the studio for the most part, knockout aside, they can do enough work to make it passable. Maybe we'll get more band harmonies to cover.
