yeah, he said it would depend how the album was received - I took it as meaning whether they'll do a big full scale tour on the same level as they've done previous tours.

I have no doubt there will be more dates for the tour in Europe (they better, I'm counting on going to a show for my 40th) - but I'm pretty sure Jon doesn't want to play to half empty stadiums like on some dates on the What About Now tour.

I really hope the stadium days are over. Jon neither has the voice or energy to pull off a stadium tour. I feel a stadium show would be horrible and tarnish the legacy of this great touring act.

The Palladium was a great show and it being only 2500 max limit really helped that.

Just do small venues now.

For small venues they'll charge a fortune and you'll never get in, that's the issue. I also don't see Jon wanting to downgrade - but maybe arena shows might work.

Big arenas may not be appropriate for Jon's voice. In 2015 when the band came to Abu Dhabi the sound was too poor. it didn't matter for the classics as the crowd drowned his voice. but when the crowd was silent for songs like "because we can" we could really hear him struggling .

My living room is not appropriate for Jon's voice. No matter what the venue is, when you can't sing, you can't ****ing sing.

The Palladium/Red Bank shows were fine not because the venues were small, but because the setlist was carefully selected with his new songs (written to accommodate his voice and still down-tuned) paired with two the most vocally safe hits in Who Says and Bad Medicine. Had he tried any of the 2008-2011 setlists it would've been a vocal butchery of an even more epic proportions than 2015.

Clearly, he's willing to ignore the state of his voice; hence, I'd say it will still be stadiums in Europe. It would be out of character for Jon to show up for a pay cut. As I've said many times, I believe he believes the majority of his audiences are idiots who can't hear how bad his voice is and he is probably right.

The guy has said time and time again that he will not downgrade. Is anyone really expecting him to tour Europe without doing stadiums? If the album doesn't do well it's probably gonna be big arenas or select stadiums or open fields and festival dates....

So Target is the best place to buy the album, correct? I won't be missing any tracks that way?

Tidal will have 19. Target 18. I'm going to do the Tidal free trial but also get the Target version for my vehicle.
