Even then, it's certainly not about only 3 songs on the album having a solo.

7 of the 12 tracks. Fighter and Amen both had breaks where solos could have gone but didn't, so 9 if you include those.

So 4 solos would be only 3 less than we got on WAN. Also, in general, aren't we seeing fewer and fewer solos in modern Rock albums?

He never said there are only 4 solos on the whole album. He said he came up with 3 out of the 4 he recorded. The confusion came if he meant he didn't write the 4th solo or if the 4th song didn't have a solo....

If I was in Bon Jovi camp, these numbers are really dissapointing. Even I didn't expect great commercial success for a single, but this is even below that.

If you type Bon Jovi in YouTube video search, this song doesn't even appear in the drop-down list of suggestions. And if you type "Bon Jovi This", it still suggests This Ain't A Love Song before it does THINFS.

As Rolo mentioned in another thread, Metallica's new single is crushing this in a shorter amount of time.
