I agree ffing terrible. Way too poppy for my liking. Don't like this house is not for sale either. Still, hope for a couple of good tracks on the album.

I think the mix lets a good pop rock song down. Guitars are way too low. No solo? I still don't get why that's the case.

I do like the song but it's amazing to think this song is written by same person who wrote KTF, Dry County, BTBMB, IDFY etc.

I do like the two new songs better than BWC. So that's something!!

Rick Rubin for me. Would never happen though.

Not sure where I stand on Knockout. The sound reminds me of The Circle era, very keyboard and percussion driven. It's so basic though, lyrics offer nothing new at all and it sounds so rough and demo-like.

It's sad to see the decline of Jon. That comes with age and his mistakes with mistreating his voice which is now all evident.

I did Buy WAN and probably will THINFS, But this version of Jon I don't like to see....but we have. I will always listen to his music regardless that now his voice is very bad vocally.....

If Bounce has a solo, then so does this song.

First vocal line made me think the upload was fake or edited. What the hell. Sounds like 80s Heart or something like that, so yeah, girlish. Also, that woaoaoaoaoaoaoa-thing at the very start... holy crap.

I actually like the lyrical delivery of the bridge - it's the same old topic, but I like the way it's put. The chorus is catchy, and beyond the first line, the verses are engaging enough, too. Song should actually have a 2 second pause after its end, then a ripping solo, then the chorus over and over again. If it were, say, 2005, we might even get that live. These days, I don't know. I don't see Phil getting extended jam spots, or Jon belting out a better vocal live than in the studio.

It IS pretty much We Don't Run 2, though, so I don't see the big disappointment from the people who loved that one.

YES. Exactly how I see this one. It won't be my favourite track on this album but it's clear the modern sound they're going after. It's catchy as heck and there absolutely IS A SOLO. It's not anything more than a lick but sorry folks, that's a solo. Would have loved less gaps in the verse and more guitars in the chorus. Lyrics are drab but the energy is okay!

I've got a hypothetical question:
Would it be possible for Jon to solve his voice problems if he undergoes any kind of surgery (throat, pipes or larynx)?
Is there any chance (after a surgery) for him to return to his range he had back in 2010/11 or in the first half of the BWC-Tour?

I was kind of let down by WAN, but after hearing Knockout and THINFS I'm very excited for the new album. Two great power pop songs. Nice to see David getting a lot of room in the mix, also likes Hugh's bass line in the verses.
Can see why some people are not into it, but as a huge fan of modern pop rock this sounds very promising, a lot fresher than WAN.
