this is not discussion,this is BON JOVI DONT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT MUSIC board,like every member here is musical expert and famous musician,you are giving yourself too much freedom to attack everything that bend do,you can tell I LIKE IT OR DONT LIKE IT but talking about how to make album,what they need to do,what sound of guitar,drums must be is nonsense.

I am not backstager,dont need to defend Jon,but you boys and girls shooting high,by the way I am fan for 25 years

Maybe you don't have a clue about music or about how it is recorded and the process of achieving x or Y sound but some people do, even if it is on a smaller scale. Some people really do understand why a certain song sounds the way it does and if they want to discuss specifics about it then it is a discussion board, you are free to like it or dislike it, agree or disagree but that's the extent of it. Telling people what they can and can't discuss is just stupid and you should **** off if that's what you're gonna be doing....

you must be one of the experts,your way of discussion with me right now with words like "stupid" or to "f... off" tells me everything about you,what your level of culture is!

I'm not, I do however enjoy discussions on topics of interest like production, engineering, mixing and how it all affects the songs and how the album sounds. No one here is an expert but people do have some experience and knowledge about how these things work, and just because someone doesn't view the band with rose tinted colored glasses you lashing out and arriving here just to tell everyone what they should and shouldn't post and discuss tells me everything I need to know about you, which isn't much to offer in the first place. Can you really call yourself cultured but have the balls not to accept differing opinions? Sounds more like a hipocritical mindset than anything else.... Be good, I however won't be wasting anymore of my time with you....

Well, I am no musical expert but I know what I like and what I dont like and why. I dont have to be an expert for this. There are some musicians on this board and there are different opinions going around here. I dont see a problem here.
I personally dont understand how someone could like Knockout and listen to rock music at the same time, as I stated before. I meant it quite literally and not as an insult. I dont get it.
Knockout is as far away from being a 'back-to-the-roots' song as it can get. I dont judge people for enjoying pop music (well, for the most part anyway), but this song is just awful, imo. I dont get how a 54-year old who is sooooo proud of his achievment as a long-lasting artist can put out something like this and advertising it as 'back to the roots' and 'we played in the studio as a band' and blabla. This is the opposite of that.
