Wtf, Javier is one of the most respected members here, you my friend are clueless. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Sadly, for me too, Bon jovi is dead as a studioband for me too. Same reasons as Kathleen mentioned a few times before.

Quite sad actually as I have seen 37 shows, but don't know where to get my fix. I'm pretty sure I'll go to 2 or 3 shows the upcoming tour and hope for the best. 2013 was already quite poor, I still hope Jon can pull it off.

I personally dont understand how someone could like Knockout and listen to rock music at the same time, as I stated before. I meant it quite literally and not as an insult. I dont get it.
Knockout is as far away from being a 'back-to-the-roots' song as it can get. I dont judge people for enjoying pop music (well, for the most part anyway), but this song is just awful, imo. I dont get how a 54-year old who is sooooo proud of his achievment as a long-lasting artist can put out something like this and advertising it as 'back to the roots' and 'we played in the studio as a band' and blabla. This is the opposite of that.
Agreed, Jon is destroying the legacy with crap like this. It's like complicated part 2. Piss poor lyrics and uninspired music. Hopefully that isn't what he mentioned that it sound like hand and td.

I didnt say what you should or not discuss here but you are giving yourself to much freedom to write so rough,so raw and showing disrespect to band,I listen rock music and I am not overwelmed with new songs,I like it,both, but when I dislike something from the band there is no deep analyse of production, sound of guitar etc. And you guys here, some girls, attack right away and just because someone likes Knockout he or she is stupid.
I am just saying that you need to volume down negativity, that is all!

Yup it's pretty obvious. Probably because Tico was playing golf somewhere at the same time.

It's called freedom of speech. It just a shame that it's all so poppy now, doesn't have anything with rock. Just listen to the latest Metallica or Alter Bridge songs, that's rock.

This.

I have "Drum Replacer" VST that can replace a real kit with an electronic or a real kit with another (different) kit. If the drum track on Knockout is a real kit, they did a great job at making them sound like modern software.

When we got the track description, it was pretty obvious that Knockout would be this type of song.
It seems that much of the rests of the album is a bit deeper though, so I still have hope that the album will be good. Its okay to have 2-3 songs like Knockout on the record, but hope for a bit darker vibe on some songs.
Would love to see something like "teardrop.."

My suggestion for best tracks (based on the little we know) is Living With the ghost, Labor of love, Devis in the temple and scars on my guitar.
It looks like the songs most likely recorded "almost live" is Labor of love and New years day.
