That approach isn't unheard of, upping the drums with loops and stuff but, why so much?! Maybe the song wouldn't have worked any other way, it still kind of makes me uncomfortable lol....

Oh I'm not disagreeing with that, people are just going on about how Tico didn't play on WAN. I agree about the lack of snare, I cant hear one in the chorus. I love a more natural drum sound.

I love Room and the songs just the way they are. If we had an album full of them it'd be a little much, and I still dont think the stand up guys songs belonged on that record, it's a completely different vibe. But with 18 songs I'm hoping like hell we get a few songs in that Destination Anywhere vein.

Yeah, Rolo... I'm afraid I have to agree with this - even though I think we've all seen, at times, how the truth can get stetched in promotional interviews.

When someone doesn't conform to your own preconceived notions, that doesn't necessarily prove that he's lying. Especially since it's a fairly inescapable conclusion that he would, in fact, know more about his work than we do.

For future reference, though, here's an example of what some people might consider to be a much more acceptable way to express such an opinion.

If his solo albums were drastically different than Bon Jovi albums it would be different, but they're not.

And just for the record, it's also quite possibly the clearest example I've ever seen of "the pot calling the kettle black."

Only a weirdo cyber-stalker keeps track of everything someone has ever posted. You're freaking me out JackieBlue. Seriously.

That was more then 2 years ago. Yes there is a search function but only a stalker (or someone with a grudge) would keep that kind of history in their mind. I'm with you Becky - seriously scary.

Thanks. It means a lot that someone like you gets where I'm coming from.

Hmmm.... I'm going to step up in Jackie's defense. I actually remember that post of yours, Becky. I'm hardly a stalker. In all the years I've been here, there have been many memorable posts and if it speaks to the reader, they'll remember it. We all mentally catalog members as they post with the opinions they hold and likely categorize them such as: Richie-lover, Jon-lover, hates Lost Highway, rates 7,800 F as best album ever.

If you have some vague memory of something someone said a while back, it's not hard to go back and find the post. I remember yours because it was a valid point about Richie's complaints over band direction.

The thing is this isn't the first time she has quoted me years after the fact. It's f-ing weird and unsettling.
