I agree, except for the part of "low quality MP3 sample". iTunes samples for example are, if I'm not mistaken, exactly the same quality as the final MP3/AAC which you can buy, so I would hardly call that "low quality". And don't get me started on that unneccessary FLAC stuff
320kbit/s MP3 is perfect for most use-cases, AAC probably even better...
Also some of the problems discussed would still be noticeable if it was a "really low quality" MP3 or whatever...
But yeah, we're all so used to the live versions now, that I'd agree: wait for the whole songs/album, let it sink in a bit and then make a judgement.
