On Thursday I've got my first proper day off since I got the album - I think I'll shake my walls playing it and blast New Years Day out to see if that helps (plus really looking forward to doing that with Devils In The Temple.)

Sorry neighbour!

Haha, enjoy it! Maybe playing it loud will help, I totally love the part when the guitars kick in in the chorus. That's awesome when played loud!

Also absolutely agree about the "c'mon" part! There are only 1-2 small things I would change, one of it being that "cryin'" in "a new born baby's cryin'" a little too short/fast. That annoys me every time, and he did that longer live, but hey, I can live with it

Since I got a proper capture of the FM broadcast from the London show last night I'm stuck to that one. It may be the best mix I've ever heard on a BJ broadcast and outshines the album by a mile. So many nuances I've just never heard before

Just in case it hasn't been posted before:
Color Me In is the bonus track on the Walmart edition of THINFS. Just saw on Bon Jovi's facebook page.

I don't like Come On Up To Our House and New Year's Day still sounds like a filler. Real Love and Goodnight New York are both turds, but they're bonus tracks, so I can't complain.

All the others are either good for the purpose they serve on the album (KO, Reunion, title track) or great songs in general (the rest). So it's fair to say that it stood the initial test of the first impression in my book. Still an 8/10.

I love NYD. Didn't like it as much as the rest when I got the album but it's grew.

I like God Bless more and more too but it's the start of that which is weird. That sounds out of place more than anything. Love the lyrics though

I hope this song is released at some point, maybe some version "This House Is Not For Sale Tour Edition" or something, with some bonus track.

Someone could ask John Shanks on twitter.

I think the album is great for a Bon Jovi record in 2016. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone who's not a huge Jovi fan but it does for me what I want a Bon Jovi record to do. I find myself humming the melodies quite often!

In terms of individual tracks I adore "Living With The Ghost", "Devil's In The Temple" (hell yeah), "All Hail the King" and "Scars On This Guitar". "Come On Up To Our House" is great as well as is the remix of "We Don't Run". Now for tracks that I don't like "Roller Coaster" is definitely on the top of that list. The verse melody is too similar to Imagine Dragons' "Demons" for my liking while the chorus melody reminds me of a Finnish children's song which is an association I don't appreciate either. I do enjoy the "it's a roller coaster..." part. But the associations to the other songs in addition to Jon's vocals in the chorus kill it for me so it's a song I skip. Other than that there aren't songs I feel like skipping although Reunion is rather boring. New Year's Day and God Bless This Mess are fun but very uninteresting (I like the lyrics on the latter). Other songs I enjoy more or less.

All in all I was pleasantly surprised by the album!

By the way (I haven't been following the discussion too closely), is anyone else reminded of Every Road Leads Home to You when they're listening to the verses of Born Again Tomorrow?
