Also considering the state of Jon's voice now - that might have been the last of his good voice. So there are lots of great memories wrapped up in The Circle and when I play it - they are all still there.
I still like The Circle too. But I wish they'd play Love's the Only Rule live instead of Born to Follow.

Too political and dated for me. A few songs are good, but for the most part, it's IMO, the weakest of ALL of their albums. It has very little heart, completely the opposite of This House. It's a paint by numbers album to me.

This is possibly the one statement made on this board that everyone would agree on. LOL

Jon is here because of the fans, hopefully come next album and Tour his vocals may be a little better ( not exceptional, due to age and tear on his vocal cords that he's done to it)

I would be shocked if he retired after the tour! I am probably in the minority here! But I want Jon to continue after this Tour!

I think John Shanks gets what type of songs the fans like/dislike now being on tour, but again he works with Jon's current voice limitations that he has. Wouldn't be different if Jon hired another producer.

And it's unlikely Jon is going to have a voice op, unfortunately. He knows he needs to work harder with what's left, with his vocal coach to keep on continuing till he wants to quit for good.

The Circle is my favorite Album produced by John Shanks. It sounds majestic as a whole.

I agree with Kathleen in regards to The Circle era having some great memories attached. Those Sydney shows and the Perth show I went to is THE highlight of my years as a Jovi fan. Having said that, the album has dated for me.

I loved The Circle when it came out. I thought it was great. It has faded for me over time though. With the exception of LTOR and Superman Tonight, I barely listen to any other song (though I still think WWWB is a great track).

WAN on the other hand, I still enjoy nearly half of it (I know I'm in the minority on that one).

THINFS is still getting heavy rotation for me, though half the tracks have dropped off completely - Reunion, All Hail the King, Scars, God Bless, COUTOH, Touch of Grey, Color Me In. I still play NYD and Labor of Love on occasion. The rest I listen to regularly (Roller Coaster, Born Again Tomorrow and Ghost daily).

Now that the leg has ended in the EEUU, I wonder if Jon will took the time to write and record new music, and so surprise us next year with a new launch.

I thought about that too but I seriously doubt it... However anything is possible and maybe another reason why Shanks was on the tour...

Being that They are so proud of the album, I doubt they'll release new music to overshadow this release before taking it around the world. But as said above, anything is possible, there's soundtracks and stuff that they could do....
