Only a few seconds in, such a lazy chord progression.

Intro reminds me of Wake Me Up When September Ends, but combined with the chorus I kinda get All About Lovin' You-vibes as well. Actually sounds rather radio-ready, either way, so I'm wondering why it was relegated to bonus track status.
Probably because the album is so personal and this one is more socially conscious. It would have been a better fit for What About Now. I don't think it's about a politician but about people in general being agents of change. But this is exactly the kind of song that's been getting a lot of backlash in general for the last few years. This one may be as genuine as can be, but it fits the vein of songs like WAN that sounded trite.

Sums up my thoughts PERFECTLY. This is the type of song I feared this album would be full of.

Touch Of Grey is a song that reminds me of the sides B of Bounce. His voice sounds more rejuvenated, I like. This is a good pop song, as Beautiful Day.

This seems to be more of a politics/election song, and as such, it does not really fit with the subject/message of the original 12 songs which is a lot more personal.

I think it fits perfectly with the others. But maybe it's just me and liljovi93.

Touch of Grey would easily fit on any album from Crush through to What About Now, even Lost Highway.

It's not a terrible song, and I like the colour analogies in the lyric, but it's a very post-2000 generic song. If it were an actual track on the album it wouldn't be a massive issue IMO, only because the rest of the album isn't like this at all. Had it been on WAN/HAND/Bounce etc, it would've been another infuriating track of the same old same old.

I like "Touch of Gray", I can see why it didn't make the Standard Album. Agree that this song is more suited to WAN than THINFS.
