Is it the upload or does it sound not that Shanks-polished? Almost seems that it is from another session without Shanks with a Jon with a better voice. It sounds different. Way better than Rollercoaster, BAT and other songs on the album. As usual in Joviland the Bonustracks are better than the songs on the actual album. Still have a soft spot for "We Can dance" - loved that years ago. And AALY made the record? WTF?
About AAL, I really like that one. And I can easily understand why it was putted over We Can Dance: got decent airplay, at least here. Don't get me wrong, I love We Can Dance.

I agree Rolo! The sound is refreshing and it's a shame that that awful mixing undermined it's potential.

Now looking Tidal to get the track 19. I hope it's Rage of Angels, but I'm content with any unreleased song, chances of Color Me In are high.

Touch of Grey is an awesome song, but don't fit the album in any way. Sounds like a The Circle-GH era song. Miles better than What Do You Got.
I also like the production of the song. Sounds more natural than some songs on the album.

I think it's an alright song. Listenable but that's about it.

Thats what I noticed as well. Maybe a leftover from sessions in the past? better voice, more raw production

Greetings Dry County community.
I have to be accountable for some of my posts as of late being a bit to harsh and possibly even cocky. I am as big a fan of this band now as I was back in the 80's and I do have the tendency to let my passion get in the way of being open to alternative points of view.
I will try to improve on this moving forward.
For now, I'm just going to continue to enjoy this release without chiming in as much. I just feel blessed to have you guys on here that give me an opportunity to share the same feelings or even debate the current status of the band. Tough to find anyone of my friends here in the states that share the same knowledge and understanding of their overall career.
Cheers to all.

I actually think it won't be "color me in". In the email from Billy Falcon subscription it said he co-authored 10 tracks on the new album. Now it's exactly 10. If there will be 19th track i think it's "all we are" co-authored with James Brett.

Cheers back. Nothing too cocky about anything. I might have been a lil to harsh as well. Mostly it was a pleasant and polite discussion so far I think I hate it when it gets personal. We are all cilized grown ups i should think so.
And believe it or not: I listened to "Touch of Grey" about 5 times in a row. Something I havent seen coming. Good song!
