Agreed.

I thought Jon will never make another great ballad given his vocal limitations and what we're going to get will be Amen and Blind Love type stuff. Boy, was I wrong. This is a total throwback to DA era and I love it. After the first two listens of the album, this was the one that had chorus stuck in my head all the time.

I perfectly agree with KSantaFe and Walleris, I Will Drive You Home is a great song. It really took me by surprise when I first listened to it even though I had previously listened to the snippet a couple of days ago. The atmosphere of the song is amazing and so are Jon's vocals and that robotic ending, for me at least, really takes the song to another level.

BTW regarding the robotic vocals, who sings that part? The second voice to me sounds like Jon, you can tell that especially when you listen to the song on your headphones, that last "I'll be standing HERE" on that line you can clearly tell that Jons voice is also present, but who is the main voice? Is it Dave or another member of the band?

I must be in the minority, but I thought the ending of I Will Drive You Home was weird and off putting.

Yeah the endings unusual mainly because we're used to hearing Jons voice I think. Still think it's the best song on the album tbh

Ha! That's good. I find that part rather annoying, sounds like something from Daft Punk.

By the way, how can one listen to "Touch of Grey"?

By the way, can the video for Labor of Love be more like a copy of Wicked Game's video?
They went for the full package there, song & video.
Except the ending, obviously.

I disagree. I think the ending is perfect.
See to me, the entire album is cleverly influenced by splashes of 21st Century day music.
So if you are not into Coldplay, Interpol, The Strokes, The Killers, Keane, Bastille, Kings of Leon, and even Daft Punk, then the ending of I Will Drive You Home, and songs like New Years Day, Knockout, and Born Again Tomorrow may be tougher to accept or get into.
