1. Tame Impala (Lonerism)
2. The Struts (Everybody Wants)
3. My Morning Jacket (Still Moves)
4. The Shins (Port of Morrow)
5. Alabama Shakes (Boys & Girls)
6. Interpol (Antics)
7. The New Pornographers (Twin Cinema)
8. Michael Kiwanuka (Love & Hate)
9. Dredg (Catch Without Arms)
10. Rival Sons (Great Western Valkyrie)
Just to name a few off hand.
If you haven't listened to these bands/albums then your opinion doesn't carry a lot a weight with me.

I listened to some of them. RIval SOns ist just a copy of Doors and others trying too hard to be retro. This whole "Let's sound like the 70's" is rather forced IMHO.
The Struts I might buy as their singer has some Queen & Freddie Mercury vibe which is never a bad sign.
The rest are either meh or I dunno them

WHat also bothers me that those bands are just interchangable - no star quality whatsoever. YOu might meet them in the subway and won't recognize them. I rather prefer some originals larger than life
Cannot see anything of the bands I know from your list in 2016 Jovi. Surely no RIval Sons influence anywhere
