Any Other day is the only decent song off of LH. The rest is more than bland

I know that SAM is from crush, The LH resemblence was not connected to this song

Rollercoaster is a really unpretentious song. Trying to sound like a cheap PINK carbon copy. I don't want such "shalala" songs from a (once) rockband. This is bubblegum / elevator / supermarket music. Musical junk. Like a burger in McDonalds: YOU consume it, feel ok for a few minutes and after that it sinks in how bad and useless it was. What a crap song

To each his own, and I actually agree about She's A Mystery (what a turd), but I absolutely love Til We Ain't Strangers and some other stuff from LH. Great songwriting in that song, not the typical structure (two different choruses separated by a solo), great duet, power, emotion, magic. This is what Bon Jovi always has been about, not those big riffs or guitars. If you want riffs, go check out the Stones, if you want heavy guitars, there's lots of them out there too...

We clearly have a different view on BJ. If I want someone to show my love for this band I Will always show him/her the LYHOM video. This sums up what this band was all about. Great catchy upbeat songs, a frontman on fire, fun on stage. Hard to believe this is the same "band" when you look at those dreadful & passionless performances like London or New York lately. I would never show anyone "TWASA" - bland generic pop country.

I dont think ive ever got past Seat Next To You on LH - love Memory and Any other day plus the fun We got it going on - the rest are fairly boring. But talking about bonus and b-sides I love the bonus tracks on LH - Walk like a man and Put the boy back in cowboy.

I like Pink, so I'm fine with that comparison.

Sometimes I want a McDonalds. Sometimes I want a fine cut of steak.

They both satisfy a need, and Jovi do some good deep songs, and some good throwaway pop-rock. That's why I'm liking the variety on the album as it covers the bases, you have Knockout/Rollercoaster providing the cheap thrills whilst Scars/Ghost/Temple are deeper.
