Sometimes I want a McDonalds. Sometimes I want a fine cut of steak.

They both satisfy a need, and Jovi do some good deep songs, and some good throwaway pop-rock. That's why I'm liking the variety on the album as it covers the bases, you have Knockout/Rollercoaster providing the cheap thrills whilst Scars/Ghost/Temple are deeper.
