Default Whatever they may plan, the Greatest Hits are...

As an anticipation that the Greatest Hits album's songs choices could be disappointing, I choose my own fav songs which are:

DISC 1
1.LAST MAN STANDING
2.BORN TO FOLLOW
3.BLOOD ON BLOOD
4.LIVING IN SIN
5.JUST OLDER
6.BORN TO BE MY BABY
7.IN THESE ARMS
8.BED OF ROSES
9.ALWAYS
10.CAPTAIN CRASH
11.RUNAWAY
12.STICK TO YOUR GUNS
13.WANTED
14.NEVER SAY GOODBYE
15.PRAYER

DISC 2
1.I BELIEVE
2.FAITH
3.NICE DAY
4.HEY GOD
5.DRY COUNTY
6.THESE DAYS
7.THIS AIN'T A LOVE SONG
8.BAD NAME
9.IT'S MY LIFE
10.BAD MEDICINE
11.OPEN ALL NIGHT
12.MEMORY
13.WHO SAYS
14.SATURDAY NIGHT
15.LOVE'S THE ONLY RULE
16.THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME

Then I realize, 2 disc set is never enough. It's better IMO to release 3 disc of Bon Jovi Essensials. Too many great songs are left out. Could this be similar to your list?

One song from the Circle? Hahahaha.

I like your list, the only song I disagree with is Open All Night. Too slow, too boring for my liking.

I want to see Never Say Goodbye on a Greatest Hits. I love that song.

Not on the version I have. There were two different versions - I don't have NSG on mine. I think there's another version with two extra songs on it.

I like that list, however, that won't happen. This would work for an essentials, but it will be a Greatest HITS album, which, by title, would be hits. So Love's the Only Rule, Open All Night, Stick to Your Guns, Blood on Blood, Last Man Standing and Captain Crash wouldn't be on there. Much to our dismay, they have stressed that it will be a single disc, post 1995 disc, with 4 new songs. It probably will look something like this

1. It's My life
2. We Weren't Born To Follow
3. New Song
4. This Ain't A Love Song
5. Lost Highway
6. New Song
7. Have A Nice Day
8. Misunderstood
9. Who Says You Can't Go Home
10. New Song
11. Superman Tonight
12. Say It Isn't So
13. Make A Memory
14. New Song
15. Everyday
16. These Days

Superman was hardly a hit, though, Most of those songs I wouldn't call hits.

Just give us an essentials album with all the good songs, not some post 95 crap.

Yeah. I would rather have an essentials. But they're not trying to sell to us. We have all of those songs, anyway. They are trying to sell to the rest of the public. When it boils down to it, we shouldn't even need to buy the album if we have all the songs like I do. I will probably just buy the new songs on iTunes.

I'll buy the whole album, I can't not buy it, I have 12 of them sitting on the shelf already, hahaha.
The new songs, well I assume they'll pick one to release as a single - as they did with Always and Someday.

Very good list, sir! I would only add Thank You For Loving Me instead of either Superman or Say It Isn't So as it's probably the most popular from the past 10 years and even though they don't perform it anymore, it's a very well known song for casual public. But mostly, it's a great list and I'm one of those people who would prefer a "GH, part 2" release rather than "The essential BJ collection" with Prayer, Bad Name, Medicine and others.

1-Its my life
2-Superman Tonight
3-Brokenpromiseland
4-Dirty little secret
5-Say it isn't so
6-Novocaine
7-Love me back to life
8-Another reason to belive
9-No regrets
10-Breath
11-Undivided
12-Any other day
13-The last night
14-Nothing

Bonus: Love's the only rule + You wanna make a memory.

Come to think of it, lookin at the above set of songs, Bon Jovi was a very good band in the past decade, congrats.

Not to mention that Bon Jovi did have some awful songs and compilations, but the above set of 14 songs beat anything! either from the old or new Bon Jovi (i think its safe to say that).

P.S: you cannot include anything off of These days or Destination Anywhere into this set, cause its something totaly different.
