Why is JBJ so secluded? Why there isn’t any forever promo?

If I remember correctly, Anthony directed all of those videos for the Bounce songs to be played on the satellite dishes during the concerts. I think they were released at some point. They were really poor.

My personal opinion nonwithstanding, you can tell Jon really did believe in that album. I wonder if this is gonna be another Bounce scenario, an album he seems to have basically disowned after it did not do as well as he had hoped it would.

I don't think so, he still speaks so highly about 2020 and laments that he didn't have the chance to perform it. I think we'll have that same situation with Forever.

Yeah, Im a little more forgiving on those since they weren't meant to be anything more than vignettes on the satelite dishes while the band performed.

As far as band music videos he's done, apart from Who Says, it's been pretty meh. Lost Highway just looked so cheap.

I don't think anyone is negating the emotional toll the dude is going through but it doesn't really explain why all promo and pre-filmed materials and plans were scrapped.

Do you think they might be downing tools on the Forever promotion to leave a space before promoting a boxset of some type around Christmas time? During the promotion of Forever Jon hinted a couple of times that a boxset might be released late 2024 or early 2025.

i think that was going to happen regardless. My gut says late fall would have been promo for a winter release. I donèt think they planned on stopping promo for it, just letting it run its course if a tour or promo shows weren't possible. It does feel like something specific happened that changed things but who knows what.
