Default Work For The Working Man (New Song)

"Working Man": a theme of the new album.
According to the article by Sarah Duxbury on the San Francisco Business Times, the theme of "Working Man" performed by Jon last night is an issue of the new album, specially arranged for acoustic power to interpret and exclusive gala at the Entertainment Industry Foundation National Conference for Service and Volunteering .. According to the reporter reads something like this:

"Empty pockets, full of worry / Had to get two jobs and hard enough just getting by," goes one line. Near the end, the song lists the woes of the laid off: "Lost my pension / They took my ID / These were my friends / These were my dreams / These were my hopes / These are my streets / Can you hear me?"

And the meaning of the song would be something like "Who is working for the man worker." This is a video with the end of the new issue.

I believe it's a good step if the album is going into this direction. more social topics and real life are what lacked that's why these days is outstanding (music-wise too of course). we'll see

Very interesting. The song "wont be out 'til November". So the album looks set to be released in 5 months!

The song sounds really good too.
