From the legal point of view it's illegal and not okay. It's your decision if you want to do it anyway. It is like stealing. Burning them is the same as if you would go to Virgin and steal the CDs.

Just for the future, you should copy the CDs that you want to carry around and shouldn't take the original CD with you. This is legal as long as you don't crack a copy protection. But BJ's CDs aren't copy protected (until now).
