I spent 3 weeks in Brighton in July/August. Trained a lot for my athletics races. Watched Alberto Tomba start his long-awaited World Cup conquer. Admired Baggio's gems in USA.... mmmm then I can't remember....

record company maybe?
or at least maison de disques would translate into Italian as casa discografica which means record company

First started secondary school that year - almost 10 years ago jeez!! Most prominent memory was Italy vs. Brazil in World Cup USA and Roberto Baggio skying it over the crossbar in the subsequent penalty shoot-out - great match! Best final I've ever seen!!!

1 thing I remember from 1994 was that The Sign from Ace Of Base spent 2 months at No. 1 in Australia! I do remember Always came out then and was pretty big, but I was only a very moderate Bon Jovi fan at the time.

Other than that, my football team, Essendon got a biiig premiership hangover and went from 1st in '93 to 10th in '94! And yeah, I was a bit of a dorky looking 11 year old.
