I shouldn't have said Hollywood, as I meant the entertainment field in general is liberal including reporters. Here is an interesting article about media bias.

Regarding the debate

Quote:
I thought Obama did very well. McCain was stuck in the past and telling little stories... funniest was when he went like "I made a promise to this mother once that I would wear a bracelet of her child that was killed" blah blah blah wasted time for 10 minutes. Obama comes out... "I'm wearing a bracelet too"
Bringin' the lulz y'all!

Tixy: John McCain knew who his bracelet stood for, and recited the name from memory. BHO had to say "let me look" or something like that. If he's going to try and beat McCain at his own game, he should at least make a credible attempt.

[paraphrased]"Yeah, I'm wearing this bracelet in support of of our troops, but I have no idea who's name is on it or why it's important."[/paraphrased] I think that is "bringin' the lulz" in a completely different and unintentional way.

John McCain is a good storyteller. Everything that came out of his mouth had some story behind it that didn't really pertain to the question that was asked. It's his lame attempt at sympathy votes. I think the bracelet comment falls under that category.

If Barry Sotero thinks it's trivial BS, he should say as much instead of trying some half-assed attempt to fit in. If he's going to wear a bracelet as a memorial to a specific dead soldier, he should know that name. And if that soldier means that much to him, he should honor that soldier's parent's request NOT to dishonor their son's name.

I DON'T think McCain cares who's name is on his bracelet. But if (Huh, the abbreviation for Barry Sotero would be BS. Nifty.) BS wants to play along, he's doing a pretty crappy job of it. McCain comes off as at least somewhat credible. BS looked like a fool.

Yeah, but lets also look at Obama who speaks quite eloquently without really saying anything. McCain does know his stuff involving world leaders, history, etc. Whether he does the right think with his knowledge is a different story, but he did make Obama look like the rookie he is.
