Some of us really don't like the Democrat platforms, and as much as we think the Republicans have diverged from traditional conservative values, we prefer the remaining slim shadow of those values to their antithesis as embodied by the Democrat party. The Republicans stand for a whole bunch of things truly conservative people disagree with. The Democrat party stands for just about everything truly conservative people HATE.
