I don't think Tony's number is up just yet. The Hobbit will be the one to make the ulitmate sacrifice I think. After all, it was his fault this happened in the first place so he is going to risk his life to fix whatever is broken at CTU and die because of it.

Buh-bye Tony. Rest in peace. That was a real suprise. Didn´t see that coming. I really thought at first that he´s going to kill RoboCop before Jack gets there. Although it wasn´t that big suprise then when he opened his eyes. Tough guy I have to say. Hobbit deserved to die, he was annoying most of the time. Is Kim really leaving or does she get in trouble once more. And where are they going to release the rest of the nerve gas. I hoped that they would have given more info. That President plot has gone just stupid. Martial law or not, I don´t care.

Ok, season 5 just ended. Have to say that this was the best ever, although it had its flaws too. It was getting, as usual, rather boring towards the end, but the last ~10 minutes of the season were again pretty great and saved the whole thing. Can´t wait until next January to see how they are going to continue the story. Looks like Jack´s going to spend some time with Chinese people. That was a great thing cause I had been hoping that they´d bring the Chinese back and they did.

Yeah, good episode. The fight aboard the sub was good, though I thought the Jack vs Bierko thing would go on longer. At least Bierko has the distinction of being the only person ever killed by Jack Bauer's knees.

I couldn't believe Jack wimped out when it came to shooting the president. Knew he'd find some way of trapping him though.

The ending sucked. Can't Jack just get a few moments of peace? I kept waiting for him to look up at that Chinese guy and say "The only reason you're still concious is because I don't feel like carrying you." That would've been hilarious. On the other hand, this sets up next season with Jack in China, with absolutely no intel and no backup - exactly where I've always wanted to see his character. I hope he spends the first four or so episodes explaining that the reason the Chinese government is so good at brutal torture, kidnapping, murder, and human rights abuses is because they went Communist a few decades ago. That'd be fun.

Overall, I think season 2 is still the best, but 5 was very good.

ummmm yeh ok Adrian perhaps you might like to note that in the show jack has also been guilty of brutal torture, kidnapping, murder and human rights abuses. hmmm but that dont count cause america is a democracy yeah ? always the same with you init! lol

Humor man, humor! Not everything I post is a deep political dissertation... Though I'm convinced the communists do it on a far larger scale and have been doing it way longer than Jack Bauer has...
