hi there!
40 years back a huge man made a huge speech- hope most of you know by now of whom i'm talking: Martin Luther King! that day was the beginning of a new era- but unfortunately i think coloured ppl are still treated worse than white ppl which is in these "civilized" times a shame... just wanted to acknowledge what this man did!

you are right!! actually, my Abitur exam in English was about this very speech! Thanks Martin for bringing this great man back into my mind!

the guy was (and is) a legend.

the word, however, is black. many of my friends find coloured very offensive.

Unfortunately he is probably appreciated more overseas than in his own country. It's nice to see others take note of what he did.

thanx for reminding me about that....i remembered it last year but i forgot about it this year......the words to his speech were so powerful........i can only imagine how powerful it was listening to him
