There are others as well. Too bad they don't post too often. This board has lost all the balls it once had, even the ones who used to have opinions seem to settle for agreeing with the majority to avoid any confrontation. DevilSon springs to mind as someone who used to have opinions, now just tries to act "right".

Political correctness is never interesting. That's why this board need Supersonic and the like. **** this country shit indeed.

Wow, Ice. That's interesting. Because hardly ever have you considered my posts to be "opinions", but rather immature metal-sludge wannabe humor or you simply decided to focus on my typing rather than the content of my posts. If I recall correctly. I guess this is the first time you even allude at something positive regrading my persona. I can't help but blush in such a moment.

Back to topic, I guess my "trying to be right" refers to the Bandiera post. I always have opinions when the topic at stake is music, in this case it wasn't. What you were doing was degrading the integrity of a man based on some very vague assumption. It just felt wrong and made me feel bad. I wrote plenty of times in the past that I'd prefer Bobby to not be on stage. However, saying that he is only playing with the band because his kid is sick has nothing to do with music, is irresponsible, and calumnious. I am not "trying to act right", I am just pointing out how wrong you are. But of course, we can further discuss this in the respective post.

In a nutshell: we are trying to act like grown ups ... doesn't work all the time, but we try really hard. Or, *I* try really hard. He doesn't see what the big deal is ... we had a conversation about the issue and he dropped the bombshell of him being ready to quit any day if that is the issue ... I can't have him do that .. I don't want/can't have him leave the firm...

In the end: we can pretend all we want ... we can't fool ourselves.

Yes, something like that. As soon as I've got my degree I can start teaching children from 12 to whatever age, from pre-university school to specialized schools for art and design, and (hopefully) I'll be specialized in digital media like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator and stuff like that.

My next challenge will probably be teaching mentally ill (?) children how to use a computer and how to design on them. It'll be a new project in Rotterdam and I've applied to the job for one day per week. I haven't got a clue of what to expect but I'm sure it'll be different (and will look good on my résumé).

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Good luck with that Seb. I'm sure it will be more of a challenge but so much more rewarding .
