1) Beckham can't score from the point.
2) freekick. James was more like a spectator in that. Ok, great effort from Z.Z.
3) backpass.......James should have gotten red.

Man, England got what they deserved. Must be tough to f**k it up after decent 90mins. I do hope England will go to final, but with games like this? No f**king way.

If Silvestre had been sent off like the rules of the game state it would have been a different story.

End of the day it was some serious back luck, no more. And I for one would rather get badluck like that over and done with in the 1st group match, and not a knockout match

And if Beckham could've scored and James could've done like Barthez and saved the penalty kick, and if Gerrad could've passed away from Englands goal... Too many mistakes in 3 minutes. One red wouldn't have changed anything.

barthez knows him too good, so it was a mistake to let beckham try it.
if they would have scored the 2-0 then, i think they would have won the game.

but actually i have to say that after 89 minutes i said "it would be better if france would have won this game instead of england, because the other teams (switzerland and croatia) have a better chance against england than against france." and 3 minutes later exactly this happened. it was kind of like a wish come true, even so if it wasn't for the two other teams, i would definitely have prefered england.

Cause & effect my good man. & that wasn't a chance decision, by the rules of the game he should have gone.

As should've James surely......Consistent refereeing is good refereeing in my book.
