That's not true. It was so in the early 90s, but Linux is really easy to use nowadays. You just have to pick out the right distro for you. There isn't jsut one Linux there are hundreds of different variants. The ones made for serious geeks will obviously be more difficult than the ones made for normal people.
Just try Linuxes like Ubuntu or Mandrake or Suse. Those are the real easy ones.

You're basically only quoting what you've read somewhere. It's kinda true, but also a very stereotypical look on Linux.
I've installed about a dozen different Linux-distros and I've found a few that work for me. However, the trouble with me is that I need certain software and they're not made for Linux yet. I could use an emulator, but I really don't see the point. But I have a Linux on my laptop, just in case I have to use it for something.
