Well I don't know what standard earnings are for different countries. I just had a quick look online and it seems minimum wage here now is £5.35 (€7.97), not sure what it is in other places.

Well in Spain the minimum monthly wage is €540 (full time), and I wonder how anyone can live on that

Nope I just bought them in the cd/dvd-store here.

Bloody hell, if that is fulltime (ie Mon-Fri 9-5) that equates to less than half, per hour, the minimum wage is here

I know - and it's not as if things were half the price either. Cheaper, yes but not so much.

Scary.

minimum wage here in Michigan just got raised to $5.25ph if you are over 18. Hasn't gone up much here since my first job I got paid $3.35ph and that was 22 years ago. If you are in the Waitress or Waiter field you get anywhere from $2-3ph due to the fact they think you are getting major tips. What a joke with unemployment as high as it is (michigan rates number 1 for unemployment right now due to the auto industry troubles almost 30% last I knew) who the hell can tip anyone let alone go out to eat

Definitely Phoebe. I quit watching the show because of Lisa Kudrow.
